Designer Cufflinks Perfect For A Wedding

When invited to a wedding, one of the most important things that a man has to consider is his attire. While it is true that some couples get “hitched” in the local register office, and then all pop down to the pub with their friends afterwards, the vast majority of people take their wedding vows seriously and decide upon a formal ceremony and a big reception afterwards for family and friends.

That means that a man needs to dress formally as well, as the occasion demands. In turn, you need a smart suit which should preferably be black, charcoal, or dark blue; a formal shirt, ideally white; a smart tie or even a bow tie; polished black leather shoes (not brown, whatever you do!); possibly a smart tie clip: and, of course, a sharp pair of cufflinks to complete the ensemble.

At Wimbledon Cufflink Company we have many designer cufflinks that are perfect for any sort of formal occasion such as a wedding. Our cufflinks are of a very similar design to the bullet back and whale back cufflinks, using, as they do a toggle on the opposite end to the face, which makes them very easy to slip on and take off again.

Black-Tie Cufflinks

If you are looking for something very formal for a wedding, you might consider our Black-Tie Cufflinks which have a smart polished circular black face set in either silver or gold, as you choose. However, we have many other designs which may also catch your eye.

For instance, if you or the groom are in the Royal Navy, or for that matter, work at sea in any capacity, our Ships Anchor Cufflinks would be a very suitable choice. With the gold anchor and rope set on a black background, this stylish pattern is a great design for a wedding and also identifies you as a man of integrity.

Then there is also our Sextant Cufflink displaying the instrument in silver on a light blue background symbolising the sea. These cufflinks show you are a man who is not afraid to explore, and they will be a definite talking point at a wedding reception.

Another great design is our SPQR Cufflinks. SPQR stands for Senatus Populusque Romanus and is the Latin for “The Senate and People of Rome”. This design was on the standards of Roman soldiers in the battlefield and underlines their fighting skills. After all, the Roman army built and defended a huge empire around the Mediterranean Sea in Europe, North Africa, and Western Asia.

Then, of course, there is our Heritage range of cufflinks. You can choose to display your pride in your country of birth with a pair of these. So, you might want to select the Three English Lions set in gold on a red background, or perhaps The English Rose, also in gold but on blue.

For the Welsh, we have the Welsh Dragon, while there is also the Scottish Shield displaying the Scottish Lion Rampant. We haven’t forgotten the Irish either, with our depiction of the Shamrock in gold on blue.

There are many of our cufflinks that are suitable for a wedding, so spend a little time and enjoy choosing what resonates with you as an individual.
