The deep-rooted medieval myth that evokes an age of chivalry and timeless honour, silver on red.

The precise identity of St George is lost in the mists of time. However, what remains is a powerful myth with dragon iconography at its heart. In most depictions, St George slays a dragon with his lance and this rescues a princess who was due to be sacrificed in order to protect her city from the beast. George became the patron saint of England and during the Hundred Years War, English soldiers would invoke St George. His celebratory feast day of 23 April has endured in modern times. It is also the day that marks the death of William Shakespeare. This unique cufflink design makes a vivid, visual statement.
